Electron-phonon interactions in halide perovskites

Abstract Strong electron-phonon interactions are frequently considered the origin of unique electrical and optical properties lead halide perovskites. Electron-phonon induce formation a polaron, which is charge carrier dressed with phonon cloud. The details polaron crucial for transport since leads to larger effective mass carrier. Several mechanisms have been proposed regarding physics in perovskites, but still under active debate. While Fröhlich interaction plays an essential role ionic crystals, we also need consider strong anharmonicity perovskites that may unconventional polaron. In this review article, discuss uniqueness perovskite semiconductors from viewpoint interactions. We experimental results models concerning mobility. Finally, briefly explain two physical phenomena related interactions: anti-Stokes photoluminescence slow hot-carrier cooling.
